Accessing Configuration Settings

All Scavenger Hunt configuration settings can be accessed from a single page, depending on your installation location. To access the configuration settings, follow these steps:

Access Configuration within Jira

1. Click on the Settings cog in the upper right corner.

2. Select 'Apps' from the dropdown menu.

3. Choose 'Scavenger Hunt Settings' from the following screen on the left.

Access configuration within Confluence

1. Click on the Settings cog in the upper right corner.

2. Under the 'APPS' heading, you will find 'Scavenger Hunt Settings.'

Sharing settings between Jira and Confluence

If you're using Scavenger Hunt in both Jira and Confluence, you can configure it to share both its settings and user scores between the systems. We recommend setting this up as soon as possible, as some settings will be overwritten.

To link the activity between Jira and Confluence, follow these steps:

1. On the 'Advanced' tab of each setting page, you will find a private endpoint.

2. Copy the endpoints between their respective products.

3. Click 'Set Endpoint' on each to start linking activity.

4. Once linked, the first system to have activity will overwrite the other.
